Key updates in this revision cover eligibility requirements, the EU VAT and Temporary Admission regime interaction, the documentation to be carried on board during each charter, Port State Control implications (vessels operating under the YET programme should expect to be treated as commercial yachts under the Paris Memorandum of Understanding), and the conditions for maintaining YET status. Owners, managers, and masters of Cayman-registered yachts of 24 metres and over that charter, or plan to charter, in EU waters should review this revised guidance in full.
